Higg FEM, is an important Facility Environmental Module of a series of tools launched by Cascale (formerly known as the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, SAC). Currently, Higg FEM has become a widely recognized tool for evaluating environmental performance globally. More and more brands, retailers, and manufacturers are joining in to establish sustainable and responsible supply chain system to reduce the costs of repeated audits.
Cascale is a worldwide non-profit association consisting of 300 leading consumer brands, retailers, manufacturers, procurement agents, service providers, industry associations, non-governmental organizations and academic institutions. Cascale is committed to promoting their efforts in environmental protection in the textile and footwear industries.
